Kjaer Weis Cream Blush Review

Since I have been into clean beauty products lately, I wanted to try most of what they offer. I am a blush lover person so of course one of the things I tried first are blushers from some of the brands I have been trying recently. I noticed most of the clean beauty brands only have cream blushers like Kjaer Weis. I love the philosophy and vision of this brand since they are not only clean but environmentally friendly as well due to their packaging.

I only chose two shades because clean beauty is not cheap. I can't afford to buy the whole range so I try to get some products that I know I will use the most to make the most out of them.

Their products are housed in this luxurious red box. And what I love the most is their iconic metal packaging that swivels. It feels so luxe and environmental friendly as well because you just buy the refill after so you don't need to buy everytime the same packaging which I appreciate. So it does not add to the waste of the world. They offer different packaging now, they also have the red edition packaging which I think same materials used with their red box and is cheaper version and much lighter because this metal packaging is really heavy.

This is how it looks at the bottom or back part of their packaging. You will see a small hole that you will push using a pin to remove the pan and replace it with a new refill.

This is how the refills look like, I love that they used paper so it is recyclable. They also provide the ingredients and other information of the products which is great and helpful. It is easy to open it and the product inside has the cream product in a pan covered with a wax paper on top.

This is the first shade I got because this was the shade that I know I will used the most because it can be paired with most of the looks I go for. The only problem I had with this is that when I finally decided to use it, I saw it was like sweating as you see in the picture. It was summer time when I got it and probably because it was too warm that time that's why it turned like this. I tried to put it inside the freezer to see if it will be hardened again because the formula was melting already when you touch it. But it still stayed the same and it felt grainy already when applied which is sad but next time I know I should store it better or use it immediately because I didn't use it right away and maybe it melted because it was too warm in my room.

This is how Desired Glow looks on me. As you can see it just gives me a natural flush effect that is so pretty and ideal for my everyday makeup look. The formula is not so pigmented which I prefer so it is easier to blend and you will not overdo it. You don't need a highlighter also because it already gives you a nice glow as well and that's what I love about cream products.

Kjaer Weis Cream Blush (Joyful)

Joyful is the perfect coral for a summery, warm radiant glow. Works for fair to medium-dark skin and medium to dark skin with olive or golden undertones.

Ingredients
Mica, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Seed Oil·, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil·, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch·, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil·, Cera Alba (Beeswax) ·, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax·, Rosa Rubiginosa (Rose Hip) Seed Oil·, Polyglyceryl-3 diisostearate, Ammonium Glycyrrhizate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Vanilla Planifolia Fruit Extract·, Dextrin, Gardenia Florida Fruit Extract, Tin Oxide, CI 77491 (Iron Oxides), CI 77891 (Titanium Dioxide), CI 77492 (Iron oxide), CI 75470 (Carmine). Caution - contains Carmine

This is the shade that caught my attention the most when I was looking for a possible next shade to purchase while looking in a store here that sells this brand. I only bought a refill of this because I don't need multiple metal packaging and I have a Z palette I can use to store this. That's how their refill looks like, just inside a metal pan. As you see in the pan, this is how it should like. Dry or matte looking when it is still new. It should be like how the lipstick looks like when you haven't used it yet.

This blush is much more pigmented than the Desired Glow. This is perfect shade for the drunk blush look. It is indeed a summery shade, more on the coral side but darker. The formula of this is better because the other one had a problem. They almost feel like water color but cream version. Not so pigmented when you swatched it but just gives enough pigmentation for me to apply seamlessly the product on my cheeks.

My Verdict
I highly recommend these cream products from Kjaer Weis. The best formula so far that I have tried from all the cream products that I have. Very creamy and hydrating on the face. The application is so smooth and seamless. There is no scent so if you have sensitivity with that then you won't have a problem and of course the ingredients are nontoxic and clean that's why they are a bit expensive. You just need to use them within a year because clean beauty expires quicker but I only have two shades so I think it is still possible that I can use them up within a year because I already hit the pan of Desired Glow. I would love to try more shade because I love the formula but I will first wait when it will go on sale. They retail for €49 for the original packaging and €32 for the refill.
