I love how mascara gives a great impact on my makeup looks and surely one of the steps I can't skip. When your lashes are curled plus a good mascara, it can really make you look awake and not tired looking even if you lack sleep or don't feel good. I always go for waterproof because it is the only mascara formula that holds my lashes good and does not weigh them down at the end of the day.
I have been using Japanese mascaras for years now but I decided to try brands that I can easily purchase here in case I need an immediate replacement so I know I can just get it here whenever I needed it. I remember I did love my Chanel's Inimitable Intense Mascara Multi-Dimensionnel Sophistique in 10 Noirbefore so I decided to try their waterproof version instead.

how to use
coat the mascara brush until the white of the brush is no longer visible. apply from the roots to the tips of lashes. apply to lower lashes to give eyes a wide-open look.

This is the typical luxe packaging of Chanel with black and gold details. It gives me vintage vibe as well. This is not my ideal form (body wise) for mascara because I prefer the rounded type so it is much comfortable to hold and easier to store. So I hope they will update the packaging because it does not really look so modern but still evokes class and sophistication.
This is the wand of this mascara and what I love about it is that it is just the right size to coat my lashes since it is not too big nor too small. I like wands that are slimmer or on the thinner side because it is easier to coat my short, thin and straight lashes (asian problems) compared to the bulky kind of wands. With the special design of the bristles of this wand that provides the 3D effect that they claim, it really helps to make my lashes look longer and beautifully separated with volume which what I love about this mascara so much.

My Verdict
As you see with my photos and comparison, this mascara is life changing. This is the only mascara that I can say that made my lashes this long. I prefer when my lashes are long and beautifully separated like this than volume although you can also see that it gives me just enough volume as well. This is what I want my lashes to look all the time. This holds my lashes so good that even after 5 hours or even more, my lashes are still lifted and still looks the same like the first minute I applied it. If you want your lashes to look elegant, long with volume, separated without clumps or flaking and still looks natural, look no further. I highly recommend this! This is worth every cent I spent on it. I will truly repurchase this until I find something that would wow me more than this. This is included with promotions here so I can get it discounted most of the time. I can say that this is one of my best discovery this year. A new found HG product in my collection.
