Autumn Look

One of my fave season of the year is Autumn. Sweater weather has finally arrived. Although it is still not that cold here in Belgium, I already removed all my summer clothes one month ago that's how I excited I am. And it is not only wardrobe change along comes a new look to wear for this season. I love the look for autumn because of the berry lips and darker shades of eyeshadows, nail polish, etc. I don't particularly use eyeshadow often but if there is occasion I would love to wear darker make up. But I still need to master the art of smokey eyes so hopefully this year would be my year. :)

For my autumn look, it is a bit similar from my Everyday Make Up look post here
But I changed some of the products and so here it goes...

Base

I first apply Avène Hydrance Optimale Légère UV SPF 20. I love this moisturizer because it is light, dries fast and of course for the spf. I have been using this entire summer and I am really content and happy with it. No fuss at all! Then I apply the Garnier BB cream for oily/combination skin in Medium. I used to use the normal BB Cream from Garnier but I tend to be oily during warmer months that's why I changed and tried this one. I love this bb cream because it is lighter and easier to blend because it is runny type but not easy to apply. I just put a bit on my hand and mix using my fingers before I apply to my face. It is better for me to use my fingers because it is faster than using a brush and blending is better for me. It gives good coverage for my blemishes and pigmentations but I'm still not sure if it is the right color for me because it is a bit darker or sometimes lighter on my face but not really bad that I look ridiculous because after the powders it becomes better. After that I still need to conceal some of the red spots and scars using the Revlon's photoready concealer in Light medium. I love this concealer because it is the right kind of color that blends well to my skin and it is not obvious at all that I used a concealer on some parts of my face. Then I finish it off with Clarin's Mineral Loose Powder in dark 03 using the Barbara Hofmann Angled blush brush in buffing motion all over the face and neck and then I use MAC Blot Powder in Medium Dark all over my face mainly where I applied the concealer so that it stays in place and to set my make up and also to mattify the bb cream. I prefer blotting it and not using a brush because it doesn't give a better effect when I use brush when applying it. I'm really happy I learned about this blotting powder from Carmimindy! It removes the shine especially on my T-zones that's why I'm glad I bought this product.

Cheeks

I use Sleek Sahara blusher using Real Technique Blush brush. I love this because it also contours my face really well so no need to use another product for contouring so it is faster and not time consuming especially when I am in a hurry. I have been using this blush the whole summer and I think it will be throughout the year. I like that it is not shimmery and I realized now I love matte type of blusher than the frosted type because it looks more natural. I love the Real Technique Blush Brush because it is so soft and it applies the blush really good and catches right amount of product.  Then I highlight my face using Mac Soft and Gentle Mineralize Skinfinish. I apply it under my eyebrows and above my cheekbones til the above arch from my eyebrows, I make like a C form.

Eyes

I use Urban Decay's Naked and Buck. I apply Naked all over the eyelid as a base then I blend out the Buck all over the crease to have a brown contour and also on my outer lid. I apply a bit darker at the outer lid to have a better dimension of the eyes. Then I apply the Covergirl Liquilineblast in brown following the upperline from my lashes as close as possible with my lashline so my lashes will have a thicker effect. This waterproof eyeliner is really good quality considering that it is only €5 I think. It lasts more than a year to me and I'm still halfway of the product so really good value for your money. I just follow from inner to outer upper part of my lashline using the Essence gel eyeliner brush. In this way my eyes really pops up beautifully. Then I curl my lashes with a Tweezerman curlash which I had for 2 years now and works really good. Then coat my lashes with Clinique High Impact waterproof mascara in black/brown. My all time favorite mascara. Review here

Lips

This is my favorite to wear this season and it is my lipstick. It is the Mac Hot Tahiti lipstick. I had this during winter time but I was not able to use it that much but when I bought it I was looking for a lipstick that I can use for everyday that is not in your face red but more a subtle one and this was my fave among all that I tried. And I just realized that this color is perfect for autumn because berry lips are in during this time. I love this because it is so easy to apply, it glides so easily and it feels moisturizing and that is very important for me because I am prone for dry lips so it is really a bonus! It lasts pretty long but when I drink/eat I need to retouch it but if not it will stay for hours.

My make up routine is not complicated at all. I love to keep it simple because it does not take so much of my time and it is more natural looking so very suitable for everyday look. I wish you all a wonderful Autumn and I hope it won't be too cold soon. Let me know about your looks!
