Lilah B. Bronzed Beauty Bronzer (b. sun-kissed) Review

I've never thought I would love bronzer so much that I bought a lot this year and mostly are from Clean Beauty. This was one of my wishlist because I saw alot of people raving about it and I can't resist the packaging as well. The beauty of this white stone is impeccable and just fits with what I look for, packaging wise. It just gives me a luxurious spa vibe which this brand as a whole emanates.

After seeing alot of good reviews about this bronzer, I bit the bullet and finally got it when I had a chance to get it with a slight discount because I had a birthday discount code I could use.

This came in with a sturdy, simple and yet beautiful box. They made sure that the product is really secured inside which I was happy about because sometimes fragile powder product like this can arrive damaged because they are not secured and protected enough during transit. With this, the product is in the center of the box that is secured and well protected.

I agree with what is written on their box which is "With less, you are more" and I apply that with my make up because I don't like heavy looking makeup. I believe that makeup should enhance and not mask your beauty. And that's what you would really achieve with their makeup because as what I noticed, they go for natural looks as well.

The packaging is so beautiful. It is quite heavy so it is not ideal to bring during vacation or to carry around in your makeup bag. This reminds of a stone used during massage but much more better. In order to open it, you need to swivel it which I love so much since it is different and much more fun to use. It has no mirror inside which I don't really mind because I never use the mirror inside anyways because I prefer to use my big mirror. The packaging is just white with their name on it which is so simple yet exudes class and elegance. I really love their minimalistic approach with their products and the overall aesthetic of the brand.

My Arm Swatches
They said you can use the light shade as a highlight but the tone is not great as a highlighter because it is a bit dark and with a light peach tone. And the dark side is too orange to wear it alone that's why I prefer them mixed together because the tone is a bit better although still not my ideal bronzer shade. This shade is not natural looking enough to be used as contour for me. Although this is not for contouring but most of the bronzers I have gives me that natural shadow effect that can be used as contour as well. This has more orange tone that's why it is unnatural looking especially on the nose area.

This is the result when I used it as my nose and face contour because that is how I use my bronzers for. I did use it as an eyeshadow as well but it is not the ideal formula for me to be used as an eyeshadow. You will see why on my video down below. I did use another eyeshadow palette just to fix it because it did not look good. But with the rest of my face, it does blend seamlessly and is really pigmented as well that's why I don't dip back anymore when I apply it on the chin part because you will see the line where you applied it. So it is best to use the remaining product from the brush to apply on the chin part. On my nose, I don't like how it looks because the tone is too orange for me so it does not look natural. But on the side parts of my cheeks and forehead, it looks better and more natural. It does give me a lovely sunkissed glow which I love.

My Verdict
The formula is beautiful but the tone is not the best for me. The problem also is that they only have this shade available so for darker skintone, it would be a problem because this won't work. If they will release more shades that I feel like it would suit me more, I might repurchase. After using it again, because I have been using other bronzers because I didn't like the tone of this. I realized, I do love the formula of this, it blends beautifully on my skin. It just gives me a beautiful bronzed effect with a subtle glow. What is also disappointing is that this did not work as an eyeshadow for me. Normally, I use my bronzers as an eyeshadow because it is much quicker. But with this, it emphasized textures that I haven't seen or noticed before. The shimmers cluster weirdly that it does not look well blended and does not look pretty on the eyes. That's why I will never use this as an eyeshadow.

I do love the ingredients because they are more for moisturizing because I have very dry skin, and I did notice that it did not cling on my dry patches or accentuate them. I just hope they will release more shades because they are in the right track, the formula and performance is there, only the shade variation is lacking. I am excited to try more from them because I did love their Aglow Priming Oil which is the best primer that I discovered this year. Their products are expensive but you get what you pay for.
