Dior Lip Glow Balm (Rosewood) Review

I have been seeing this tinted lip balm from Dior for years now and I have always wanted to try it but never really dared buying it because of the price. I have always admired it and see a lot of dupe versions of it in K-beauty world but never really bought any of it. This kind of lip balm was really intriguing for me since they said it will adapt to your lips's ph and so every individual will not have the same shade or result. And since I am more into luxury beauty now, I have decided to get it finally and also when pandemic happened, I did want to have only tinted lip balms because they are better under the mask since they won't smudge and be messy so this is the perfect time to finally get it.

Dior Lip Glow Balm (Rosewood)

3.5g €38

Dior Addict Lip Glow is the must-have from Dior Backstage to enhance the lips and bring out their natural colour.

The first universal balm by Dior reacts to the unique chemistry of each woman's lips to give them a natural flush of custom pink that suits her skin tone. As if revived from within, lips are fresh, full and radiant.

You can buy it here (newer packaging only because they don't sell the old version anymore)

BE/NLde Bijenkorf or ICI Paris XL

EU: Feelunique or Sephora France

US: Bergdorf Goodman

I also love the packaging of this. A transparent pink with the beautiful Dior details but they recently reformulated this and now it has a different packaging as well which I would surely get to compare and also get more shades because I love the formula so much. They offer upto 13 shades but they are not all available in all countries, it depends where you are located. I am only interested with the Coral shade and the transparent version so I can use it as a normal lip balm. There is a slight minty scent and feel on your lips but very faint so it won't bother you or even notice while having it on. I do love the newer packaging, they just updated it a bit but I am also excited to try their newer formula because as what I saw it has 95% natural ingredients which is great.

Even if it is expensive compared to the other tinted lip balms available on the market now, but you get a lot and it will take me for sure more than a year before I can see significant dent even if I use it consistently that's why it is a great value for your money.

This is my bare lips so you can see how my natural lips look like to compare when I have the lip glow on. My lips are not dark nor too pigmented.

The left side is with the Lip Glow and as you see, it just gives a nice glow and a slight tint to it. It is not a matte type so it will give you a sheen but not sticky or heavy on the lips. It is very light formula.

This is how it looks on me. It really looks natural, a MLBB shade for me which just gives my lips a better look and they look healthy and hydrated as well which is a look that I want to achieve.

This is my arm swatch and as you see it is very thin formula that gives just a hint of color. This is the perfect formula under the mask since it is hydrating and longlasting as well.

My Verdict
9/10
Almost a perfect score! I actually wanted it to be matte that's why I didn't give it a perfect score because I want a totally matte tinted lip balm. But aside from that the over all performance, quality and how I feel wearing it is superb. It keeps my lips hydrated under the mask and just a great tinted lip balm. You can really feel the price that you paid for it aside from the beautiful and iconic packaging but the product itself is worth it. It is really soothing and smoothing on the lips which I love so much about it. Now I understand why a lot of people raves about it and always have it inside their bags because this is a no fuss yet effective lip product that you can depend on in any day. You don't need a mirror to use it and worry about making a mess, it is just a perfect grab and go kind of lip product.
