Sneaker shoes are one of my favorites with it comes to footwear. Not only the styles appeal to me but the amazing comfort it provides whenever I use them. When you live in a country that long walks are common and a normal daily routine then good shoes are vital in order to make your lives much easier and comfortable. And I always choose comfort because our place is filled with cobble stone roads and most of the roads here are not really smooth so wearing heels or even platform is a chore or can be torture at times. I haven't bought sneakers for 2 years not until recently I decided to add more since the one I am using although really good but it is getting old. As much as I want to continue using it for much longer, it is time to find another shoes that I can interchange with my old but trusted one from Ugg. It is the most comfortable sneakers I have ever owned so I was in a hunt for something similar.
When I was browsing at & Other Stories store here in Gent, I stumbled upon this sneakers. It was love at first sight and I knew for that moment that I had to have it. They didn't have my size so I looked online and saw Footlocker has them. I decided to go in store just to check for my right size and I think it was meant to be because the last and only size available at that moment was my size. So I just bought it immediately.

What drew me to this design is the color, I am more into neutral shades with it comes to my clothes and also accessories and makeup so when I saw it for the first time, I fell in love in an instant. I never saw someone wearing this before and I am starting to appreciate chunky shoes recently so this was the perfect introduction for me with the current trend. I remember I during my teens, chunky shoes were also on trend that time and now like any other trends that come and go, it's back and I feel like it will stay a bit longer than I thought.
What also convinced me to get it is that when I tried it on, it is so soft and cushiony feeling. It felt like walking on clouds and I don't really feel the floor while walking unlike my older work shoes. The technology they used for this which is exclusive to Adidas called adiPRENE®:

That is why it is not like any other shoes that I have, the sole is too thick that you don't even feel the bumps of the road or any rocks which I really love. I feel really good while walking even standing for hours while wearing it and the experience is just really amazing and no other.

This has got to be one of the best feeling and comfortable shoes I have owned. The price is worth it because you get what you pay for although you will find them sometimes on sale so you just need to look out for promotions. The style is really beautiful as well, I got so many compliments while wearing it. It is a unisex shoes, I've seen it worn by men and still looked great on them. Since it is a unisex shoes, I feels wider for my feet so if you have wider feet, then you will love this! It is very roomy inside. I bought a black version of this but the older model with mesh which I will also post a review about it soon. That fits perfect on me and it is even better than this model.
What I also love about this is that there is no break in time so you won't have any blisters so it is good to go even the first time you wear it. It is very soft with every corners and the tongue part is so soft as well. I love the suede and other details of this shoes because it does not look like you only wear it for sports but also for casual or daily use. Although after wearing it, I don't think this is great for the gym or running/fitness since the fit is too loose for me. This is more for running errands or city trips that require a lot of walking. One thing also I noticed is that the shoe laces of this gets undone so easily so you need to double tie it to make it secure or else it will loosen up so quickly. Also because the soles are not leather, it can't be good for odors and sweating which I haven't encountered yet while using it but maybe it will be a problem in some other countries. Maybe you just replace the soles with a leather one but it won't be the same feeling I think.
I highly recommend this if you are looking for a great walking shoes that is not only trendy and pretty but also reliable and that you can use for hours without any leg or feet pain after.
